Flowers by Anya is a luxury wedding and event floral design studio based in Exmoor, Somerset, United Kingdom.
The following terms and conditions outline the contractual agreement between Flowers by Anya and clients booking wedding or event floral design services.
These terms apply to all confirmed bookings and are provided here for transparency so clients may review the full agreement prior to securing their date.

The following terms and conditions are set out to ensure clarity, professionalism, and a seamless experience for all parties. Once accepted, these terms form the basis of our agreement and allow us to proceed with confidence and intention.

Scope of Services
Flowers by Anya (hereafter referred to as the Studio) will provide the floral design services detailed within the agreed proposal for the event (hereafter referred to as the Event). Any refinements or adjustments will be discussed and agreed in writing.
Booking Fee & Payment Terms
A 25% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your Event date. This booking fee is deducted from the final balance.
The remaining balance is payable no later than six weeks prior to the Event date.
If payment is not received by this time, the Studio reserves the right to suspend services, including floral sourcing and production.
Where the Studio agrees to proceed following late payment, a 10% administration fee will be applied, with an additional 10% charge for each subsequent seven-day period the balance remains outstanding. Any additional costs incurred as a result of late payment will be passed on to the Client.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer. Card payments may be accepted by prior arrangement.
Production & Styling Fee
A 25% production and styling fee applies to all commissions and is included within the final proposal total.
This fee reflects design development, sourcing, preparation, logistics, installation, on-site styling, and de-installation where applicable.
This fee is non-negotiable and standard across all commissions.
Amendments & Additions
Refinements to the design may be made up until the final balance is paid.
Additions requested within 30 days of the Event are subject to availability and must be confirmed no later than seven days prior to the Event, with payment due within 24 hours.
Specific flower varieties cannot be guaranteed at this stage; however, colour, style, and overall aesthetic will always be honoured.
Cancellations
All floral commissions are bespoke and prepared specifically for your Event.
In the event of cancellation, all payments made are forfeited.
Cancellations within 14 days of the Event will be charged in full, up to the agreed minimum spend.
Any refunds issued will be subject to deduction of transaction or supplier costs already incurred.
Substitutions
The Studio reserves the right to make substitutions should specific flowers or materials be unavailable or unsuitable upon delivery.
All substitutions will maintain the integrity, colour palette, and value of the original design.
Where dyed flowers are used, the Studio will not be held responsible for any staining to garments or materials.
Hire Items
All hired items remain the property of the Studio and must be returned in their original condition within 48 hours of the Event.
Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
Items not returned within seven days, or returned damaged, will be charged at full replacement cost.
Venue & Location Restrictions
Floral installations are subject to venue rules, access times, and logistical limitations.
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure any venue restrictions are communicated in advance.
The Studio cannot be held responsible for design alterations required due to venue constraints not disclosed prior to the Event.
Liability
The Studio’s liability is limited to the total amount paid, excluding the booking fee.
The Studio reserves the right to terminate the agreement should circumstances arise that prevent fulfilment of the commission.
In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to fire, severe weather, or unforeseen emergencies), payments may be credited toward an alternative date, less any costs already incurred.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms, the services provided, or the contractual agreement between Flowers by Anya and the Client shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
